JetLabel 1.1.0 on Mac, iPhone and iPad

JetLabel processes your labels, tables, customer details and images locally on your device. No JetLabel account is required. The app has no developer-operated data upload endpoint and does not upload your label content to the JetLabel developer. Printing, exporting and optional online sources involve the destinations you choose.

Network connections and printing

Optional data requests go to the HTTPS or Amazon sources you configure. Printing sends selected output to your chosen printer or system printing service. Bonjour uses the local network to discover printers; local network access is used to discover and connect to them. Mac uses system printing; iPhone and iPad support AirPrint and supported network protocols with suitably configured printers. Apple StoreKit also uses network connections, and links you open to privacy notices or manufacturer websites open in your browser.

Camera and item scanning

On iPhone and iPad, camera permission is requested only for item barcode scanning on supported devices. VisionKit processes camera frames on the device; camera images are not uploaded. If camera scanning is unavailable or permission is denied, you can enter the code manually. The Mac app does not provide this camera scanner. Inserted images remain local until you choose to print or export them.

Local print history

With Pro, print history recording is enabled by default. You can turn it off and delete the history. The local archive can contain label content, job time, output destination and printer settings. It keeps up to 200 jobs within 50 MiB, with a maximum of 10 MiB per entry. Large jobs may retain only metadata, which cannot be used to reprint labels. History records prepared output handed to the printing system, not confirmation of a physical print.

Local backups and shared files

Labels, saved table snapshots, output presets, serial-number counters and print history are stored locally. JetLabel supports local backup and restore; it does not automatically synchronize your library through a JetLabel cloud. Serial-number counters are device-local, so moving to another device requires a deliberate counter check. Files you export or share manually may contain label or customer data; check their contents and destination before sharing.

REST sources

Optional REST sources connect to the services you configure. REST addresses can contain credentials and are stored locally as source configuration; not all REST secrets are stored in the Keychain. REST requests use an ephemeral session without persistent HTTP response caching. Review source configuration and exported files before sharing them.

Amazon sources and credentials

For optional Amazon Selling Partner API connections, the Amazon client ID, client secret and refresh token are stored persistently in the system Keychain with ThisDeviceOnly protection (kSecAttrAccessibleAfterFirstUnlockThisDeviceOnly). They are used in memory and sent to Amazon authentication as required; access tokens are sent to the Selling Partner API. No copy is sent to the JetLabel developer. Amazon secrets are not included in normal label exports. Keychain storage does not mean credentials are never used in network requests.

Purchases through Apple

Apple StoreKit 2 handles purchases and purchase entitlements. JetLabel Pro is a non-consumable, one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription. JetLabel has no payment server and does not collect payment details. Apple processes purchases separately under its own privacy terms.

No analytics or tracking

The app has no analytics, advertising, telemetry or crash-upload SDK and does not use advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking. Local error logging is present. Any diagnostic reports shared through Apple are separate from app-operated uploads; their actual use must be considered separately.

External services and App Privacy

The JetLabel developer does not collect your label content through the app. Optional services you connect to, chosen print or export destinations and Apple may process data under their own terms. Local code review cannot establish how external services retain data. The App Store Data Not Collected declaration requires confirmation of those service and retention assumptions for the shipped release.

This website

When you visit jetlabel.app, our hosting provider may process technical data (IP address, browser, time) in server logs to deliver and secure the site (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest). We do not set advertising cookies. If privacy-friendly analytics are used, they are listed here with their retention period.

When you submit the contact form, the website stores your name, email address, subject, message, language and IP address to handle your request. A notification is sent to support by email. This is separate from the local processing in the JetLabel app.
